Interested if that spray.bike stuff lives up to its apparent ease of use and good result.

Goes on very easily, looks great at first, absolutely terrible durability. Over time, flakes off all over the place without even being scratched.

Did you apply the base- and clearcoat?
Otherwise other durable clearcoats are available.
But if it's that bad, why are they advertising it's like a powdercoat from a can?

I didn't do any special prep or a primer (instructions said it needed none, I now see they recommend primer but pretty sure they didn't at the time). I did do two coats of their 'framebuilders' finish on top.

If I was doing it again I would 100% just take it to a powdercoaters
