  • Uh, too big, surely?

  • I’m… er, slightly chubs these days :)
    1.89m/6ft2 and a bit.
Currently 96kg with a bit of a belly. 44.5” chest
I was 83kg before the first lock down and historically have always wore a size xl in Castelli but at 96, xxl in Castelli is better…
The Dhb jacket has a weird fit to me, a bit restrictive at the arm pits, not sure if it’s just because I’m fat though.

Fwiw I reckon once I’m back down below 90kg the Dhb will be ok. Hope that helps!

  • Thats really useful, thanks!

  • I just checked in with Wiggle regarding my order which was made on Saturday but it still showing as processing. The online help straight up said the delay was due to the redundancies. Apparently I've still got my wiggle plus subscription until renewal in August.

  • Can I buy the XL off you please? Pm'd you

  • Joined in the insulated jacket, and the 18£ wind jacket.

  • @TotalShanner is hanging onto his jacket for now so if anybody else has an XL Aeron Insulated Orange jacket they want to move on then hit me up :)

  • I’ve got to do a return….wish me luck!

(Fohn Primaloft jacket is far too big and 0.75l bladder is actually 2.l)

  • I got the Primaloft DHB plaid shirt for £28.50, it's lovely and warm and very little branding which is nice.

  • Interesting. How's the sizing?

  • Bagged a L and a M of this, thanks. EXTRA10 worked for me.

  • I'm interested in one of these. Size M would be right for my chest size, but often I find can result in sleeves that are on the short size for me.
How are you finding the fit of yours?

  • Budget-priced orange insulated jacket has arrived. Fit is a bit weird around the chest for me- like the shoulders are too close together, but I guess that's race fit? Built for hunched over t-rex types. Hopefully should be all good on the bike.

  • How small does it pack down?

  • A big orange? That’s a medium

  • Only ordered this morning, will let you know when it arrives!

  • Got my orange number too.

It is a very bike specific cut, but I quite like that. The lower arms are completely free of insulation, which is a surprise but makes sense.

Packs down into a large jersey pocket (size L jacket).

I am quite pleased with it.

  • Runs true to size I’d say, I’m a 40in chest and went with a medium.

  • Ordered from CRC 3 March…still ‘order processing’.

  • Ordered from CRC 3 March…still ‘order processing’.

    Same.

  • Yeah it seems crc orders are processing much slower than wiggle.

My wiggle plus still seems active, next day delivery worked for my orange dhb jacket.

I hesitated on ordering the doyenne 56 disc wheelset, decided to go for one a few days ago only to see the out of stock banner on the listing photo.
Then the next day I opened my wife’s laptop that was still on the wiggle basket from a few days back that had the out of stock wheelset in the basket, bizarrely it seemed to show that it was still available to buy even though the out of stock banner was still there.
I opened the link in another window, OOS banner still there but I was able to add 12 to the basket. Took a punt and ordered, they are out for delivery today with parcel force…

I really feel for the poor buggers in the warehouse.

  • I've ordered M but have sleeve length anxiety too, don't suppose you also wear an Alpkit Woodsmoke & can offer comparison?

  • I don’t I’m afraid, the arm pit to cuff is 56cm if that helps, just measured.

  • Mine looks like it will be an ideal thermal layer under the motorbike leather gimp suit.
