That's interesting. I guess that means there's a difference between what Firefox and your phone consider to be a picture. I may have to build in some kind of transcoder to convert unusual file formats to JPEGs. 🤔 I'm not sure...
The app failing to post all images is a tricky one, but it could just be a connection timeout? There is a limit to the amount of data you can attach to one comment, but I'm pretty sure that's only implemented in the web front end (which the app bypasses) and not the API. I'll have to do some testing.
Definitely need to get working on the edit feature. It's been on the top of my list of things to do for ages, but it's gonna be a grind and I keep finding more interesting bits to work on 😬
For now I just jump to the browser using the menu top right, and edit there (for anyone who didn't already know).
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it
A little bit of feedback...
I just posted some images to the 'Digital photography' thread. For some reason, I couldn't seem to post the 4 images at the same time, hence why there are multiple posts. I also discovered that I originally posted the 'dng' file rather than the jpg - and when I looked at the site on my computer via a real web browser (firefox) they were not visible, just available to download. So I deleted and reposted.
So, I guess in summary, I'm not sure if I couldn't post 4 images because a) they were too big, or b) it was because some of the images were dng and others jpg.
I also found I couldn't edit posts from the app - needed to go via the computer. So maybe that's a feature that could come in the future?
(and I'm still looking forward to the FOSS version on F-Droid ;-)
Thanks again for the app.
