Watched Avatar the last Airbender - decent, reasonably faithful translation of the cartoon. Better than the film. Good for burning a day sitting around in airports.
Bit late to it but watched Kleo as well. Over the top end-of-East Germany assassin betrayed sort of black comedy. Thought it was pretty good overall and set up for season 2.
Also watched the first couple of episodes of Shogun on Disney+... vaguely remember the original miniseries on BBC in the 80s but couldn't tell you how similar it is. Given 80% of the dialogue in this new one is in Japanese, probably not that similar. Enjoyable enough though.

Just finished the second season of The Bear. Fantastic show, but not relaxing watching, is it. Some of those episodes made me feel anxious as fuck.

Jury Duty, an American series about, well, jury duty but where, under the cover of making a documentary about being on a jury, only one of the people involved is not an actor and that one person doesn't know that. The Guardian gave it a snotty review but I loved it and laughed a lot.

Has future man been mentioned? Not sure if it is available on streaming services.
The TV show is a Seth Rogan written sci fi, time travelling, comedy. Quite entertaining.

Anyone got a recommendation for a light comedy series show? Something that I can miss half of while cooking dinner, miss episodes, etc.
Here is a list of great options that fit the bill that we've already watched:
Superstore
CommunityI can't remember anything else.

ShÅgun.
There's no Richard Chamblain, but I'm looking forward to everyone committing seppuku over spilt milk.
Running total is 1 after 3 episodes, so a little less disembowely than the book and original series.

On a weeb tip: House of Ninjas on Netflix. Silly, but enjoyable.
The other night I watched some horrific true crime thing with my OH that weired me out, so in search of something light before sleeping I watched the inbetweeners.
Have carried on watching it and forgot how go it is. Like phone shop it's probably pretty generational specific, but I've probably laughed out loud.
