Could you take a picture next time to share how you do it on posts etc? From October onwards I'll be doing the nursery run then commuting into town on the HSD and will have to leave it parked outside so need a robust locking strategy.
(Work has secure parking but you need to fit in the lift or carry the bikes 3 flights of stairs)
