Subcompact rings are not possible on these cranks.

Yeah it's a tie between EA90 and Vegast. I'll probably just see what's cheapest, they're virtually the same crank really.

Not sensible, not cheap, but wuff!

They've been discussed, but no 46/30! I'm actually working on some bags for an upcoming show bike of theirs...

I appreciate the suggestions, but the more come in the more it seems that sub €350 + 46/30 + not Shimano doesn't offer a lot of choice.

I think rotor direct mount rings are nicer than that gravel set

But I also think that Middleburn setup someone is selling is nicer still, and much cheaper!

Those BikingGreen rings on Rotor 3D24s are a strong alternative to Vegasts.

@stelfox With the Middleburns coming without an invoice + having to pay import taxes they really aren't that cheap for me. Can't say I love the look either.

105 Di2 + Aldhus look good on this bike. I don't think Aldhus are worth the €100 over Vegast for 50g savings and marginally improved looks though. Vegast looks near enough identical.

Oh I missed this - I am amazed and really chuffed someone would get the same colours! FYI I am still really loving my framebag, it has made me want on all bikes, and the saddle bag is superb for commuting and a lot of people have asked where it’s from - I send them to your site.

Actually a big brain choice. Comes in 46/32 or 40/26!

If you go for 46/32 you might as well get 110bcd and do 46/34 and have a lot more choice. Tijmen doesn't want sane things it seems

My other half polished some Vegasts for my commuter build, they look pretty nice in silver

Best description would probably be a randallroad bike, 35mm + guards
or 42mm for the grav.

If you go down the 46/34 110bcd route, I vote for some black fc-m730s as a nod to Fern’s black DA 7400 1x cranks.

Disturbingly GRX 600 is probably at least as good as any other option, apart from the looks and the weight maybe. And only a hundred euros with 46/30.
