I've been using Effetto Mariposa FlowerPower lube recently. It's a wax based drip lube but the wax comes from sunflower seeds rather than being refined paraffin (don't ask me how they do it and whether it is actually more sustainable). It does very well on lab based friction and wear tests, goes on eaasy and lasts longer than other wax drip lubes. The only downside is that it does go black like an oil lube so you can still end up with a chainring tattoo if you're not careful.

Plastic derailleur? Did they not learn from SRAM SX?
-
• #29880
I genuinely don't think Campag even knows SRAM exists.

Now I wonder if my SX is plastic and could've been replaced. Also, the Ekar sounds like it's only plastic on the 'knuckles'. Same as SX or not?

I nearly went for Ekar on my Grevil, but given all my bikes were SRAM with XDR hubbed wheels, I figured sticking to their ecosystem made more sense.

They think it's Scherzi, Risate, Amici, e Mangiare

Squirt every time and when it gunks up wipe down with a solvent/rag and start again . Mucoff is for your tackle and thats it.

I thought I was the only one who realised it was great at dissolving nob cheese.

Maybe you're holding it wrong lol?
That’s the thing; we’re human, we might over-lubricate the drivetrain shouldn’t mean spending an insane amount of money cause it can’t be removed.
Even muc-off themselves don’t have anything to remove it.

Which solvents work well? I moved to Smoove which is a lot like Squirt. They sell their own citrus smelling cleaner which is expensive though.
-
• #29889
Smoove is the best stuff I’ve used. Only last 2-3 rides/2-3 washes, though having to clean the whole drivechain to re-apply is such a faff.
I know they say you can reapply on a chain without cleaning but I find that doesn’t work if your chain is filthy

That's top motivational imagery!

Ipa mostly for getting the chain clean then light lube in a bottle or the dregs of a wd40 can decanted into a dropper bottle and wiped off.
-
• #29897
Meh. OG tripster has a lot of clearance and is pretty capable offroad. SilkRoad/AMR probably need suspension rather than a slightly bigger tyre and fork mounts.

Silk Road/Atlas sorta stuff?
most gravel bikes do Clissold Park to Hoxton
