I would prefer cork over marm. Don't think our builders glued any of it down, we have about 30m2 but as @dbr says it wouldn't hurt...this was the stuff https://www.bricoflor.co.uk/cortex-corknatura-uv-pro-blx2011-rapid-sand-click-cork.html

Thanks very much. Yes we have concrete sub floor and I'll lay a self leveling screed before flooring.
So you're saying you'd prefer a cork to marmoleum click? .
I'm tempted to fit cork in one bedroom as a test and see how it is after a year. The only issue is it seems to need gluing.
