Remove the hard drive (assuming you don't want anyone else to view what's on it) and take the remains to any branch of PC World/Currys.

Does it still work? If so, factory reset it and donate to a computer charity.

What's the best way of recycling/getting rid of a 2011 iMac?
Why get rid? I bought one for £80, stuck an SSD in it, upped the RAM, installed OCLP Monterey and use it every day for work.
