    In the meantime, Andy Stevenson doesn't hang about, the Stooge Motos landed this morning, having ordered them 48 hours ago, and first impressions are great.

    110mm length is right, and the reach is dialled. On that basis, I've gone for a black Simworks Rhonda as a permanent stem. My thinking:

    1. Tigged steel, like the frame;
    2. OD should match these Blue Lug brass spacers from my toolbox;
    3. 10deg negative rise, going by Instagram hashtag searches, should give a ~horizontal side profile;
    4. Shipping from Circles was weirdly reasonable (wonder if they forgot to deactivate the half price international shipping offer they had on in Jan?) and typically no customs.

    And I've decided to bin off trimming the hoses myself, will take it to a bike shop at the same time as having the steerer cut...
