That last picture is great! Love it.
ETA - Apropos of nothing in particular - As you descend the hill towards Forest Hill Station from The Horniman Museum, you have an uninterrupted view of the spire of Christ's Church located the other side of the railway lines. There is a gap in the City Walk Apartments block of flats, built not very long ago, behind the station on Perry Vale. My grate friend and architect, Simon Legg (whom some of you on here will know), was the expert witness instrumental in ensuring that the view of the spire was preserved.
Bah
I stumbled into Scoop yesterday, and tagged something else, then forgot, d’oh
My first photo was pretty much the same. Then while I was nosing at the door of the renovated older building that scoop is attached to, wondering what MMGY was and missing the jazzy music that used to emanate from this building when it was a contemporary music school, I realised why the Scoop feature exists: the view of the Precious Blood large rose window revealed by the scoopy bit to Union Street as you glance down Omeara St.
