Picked this up yesterday for a song, full build with 7 speed shimano alvio in very good condition which will get cleaned up and stored for future commuter builds
Stripped it down today to give it a good clean and it turns out the frame has been well kept and came up lovely. Super nice not sanded fillets which look fantastic imo.
Size is 54 seat tube and 56. 5 top tube and weighs 3.6kg frame/forks/headset which I don't think is bad.
It also has room for 45c or more, both front and rear! Which is more than the Lee cooper by a country mile. So the idea is to build it up with a positive rise velo orange / nitto style drop bar stem and wheels / groupset from the Lee cooper.
The clearance and the fit are the things that let the Lee cooper down, that and I'm not sold on the handling.
Going for that brexit Rivendell vibe.
