cheers for the info!
Ive heard mixed responses on the auto cat box... cant decide whether im in or out... I want to believe. Are there any where i would need to press a button rather than have sensors to activate on their departure?
We're planning some hammocks above the sofa so he can be part of the family while looking down on us. Couple beds, couple trees.
My partner is much more reserved on what is and isnt going to happen. Im threatening on a cat Union to get more things (jokes obvs)
In the end a lot of it depends on your cat, as (you will be aware) they're not all the same..
The main thing about litter boxes is you have to keep them clean or they'll go elsewhere, so either need to scoop out the clumpy stuff regularly or get an automatic cat pooping machine for £749.
Some cats can be "trained" to actually use scratching posts instead of your sofa etc. - it's worth a shot.
Ours didn't like hammocks.
Comfy (warm!) chill areas are always a hit, some say cats enjoy dark blue stuff there (blankets etc.)
If you have time and money I'd really suggest building / buying some cool cat furniture so they can walk / climb around the flat!
