Yes , exactly so on the Tangente name. Both are very nice watches tbh. I do prefer the Tangente case though

I have a Stowa Antea KS, same 30s style as the tangente. It's a a lovely watch , wears very nicely . though I'm selling it to thin out the collection , not sure anyone needs more than one bauhaus style manual wound....

I didn't know about this CW. I know it's below par for the Rolex crew but I'd love to see a refresh version.

That's nice. Always thought the applied markers give it something the Tangente lacks on the dial.

Great watches! Go for it! Even better if you can get one with a Sapphire case-back. I didn’t and it is the only regret I have had with my Club 701.
P.S:Get a size down, these wear bigger than the size would indicate. A 33mm would wear nicely in a 6.5 inch wrist, a 35 in a 7 inch wrist, etc..
P.S 2: check out the 35mm Orion with blued hands. Truly amazing! Here is a reasonably priced one

Got myself a new watch after a diagnosis of high cholesterol and high blood pressure and high risk of heart attack.

That it is fairly nice is an added bonus, but I clearly bought it for the medical grade ECG built in.

Resting heart rate of 48, and still rowing 10km every day indoors.

But really the only thing I can do is obliterate as much saturated fats as possible and reduce alcohol even further.

After that there's nothing I can do, I'm already very healthy, this is just hereditary.

I think the 9500 series is the best looking of them, but it still looks like a thermonuclear device that needs defusing.

I'm no Omega expert but the photo's in that listing make the lugs & bezel look very rounded, suggesting it's probably had a heavy polishing which may or may not be a problem for you but is worth considering.

I was idly looking at the master of g ones and, thought they just looked too much....even making allowances for the G Shock style/aesthetic.

I like the analogue G Shock, but I am also wearing one today (MTG-S1000)

Saying that, I do have my eye on a G9500 rangeman though, the positive display one.
Wish you could get the orange in positive (i know I can take it apart and do it myself, but that is more hassle than I want)

That was my thought too, that the case /lugs looked a little soft, but it might just be super unfortunate lighting.

@Owsh - don't know if you're on TZUK, but I'm pretty sure there's a 2008 model going on there for £2,200 with box and papers?

Don't forget to factor in the cost of a service if the watch hasn't had one for a while - you're looking at £590 if you send it to Omega.

Yes, in the sense, that it struck me as incredibly ugly and I was struggling to find an attractive one.

I'm still really happy with my casioak. BT and solar would be nice, but it's not really a necessity.

ah soz, thought you were on the look out for a Mudman. Yep, I think the G's everyday wear design has peaked with either Casioak or the square (although I love the look of the G-Lides as well, but they don't have solar at mo). I never used the BT function, but solar is on the "must haves" for me now.

Slight dredge, but just wanted to say that i think rubber strap is the way to go for a day to day wear rather than nato - they just look a bit smarter. As @Regal says, the Erika's / MN straps are super comfy but they can be a bit fiddly to put on / off (i have a low niggle threshold!) and i think they look a little less smart than a good rubber strap if you're getting all gussied up in a suit or what have you. Rubber strap has the benefit that you can also use deployant clasp on them if you want the convenience of a bracelet without the jangle.

Last dredge (can you tell i've been busy and am playing catch up!) but just wanted to say congrats on your partner's Hamilton - love it.

And also - am feeling that yellow strap @JAH-tim, excellent work!

I managed to pull her away from the depths of depravity- she was shopping for a fashion watch. Convinced her that the WSO was going to only last a year but at least the Hamilton would be with her forever, even if she stuck it in a drawer for 50 years.
