An Erika’s MN gets my vote, they’re expensive but the most comfortable version of an elasticated nato IME. There are lots of cheap copies but the advantage of the Erika’s is that they are made to exactly the length you specify.
The only issue is they do absorb sweat and grime and get a stank on so need regular washing (in the washing machine, inside a protective bag… and removed from the watch… obvs).
I've come to the conclusion I hate metal bracelet straps. Too much jangling when commuting. What would you aficionados recommend as the most comfortable and relatively tough alternative? I'm thinking nylon NATO or rubber, don't want leather.
And is it easy to swap yourself or should I get a shop involved.
