Ours is 4.2x4.6m according to the estate agents. We removed the breakfast bar bit and added a table in the gap (custom @dbr legs to optimise space).
Glad we did as we use is for most meals and now even more with a 6 month old. Dining room (corridor) is great for guests etc, but the light in the extension makes it the go to place.
It’s narrower than yours, and the island is spaced so you can open the dishwasher and the DRAW opposite at the same time, which is probably unnecessary.
Edit. I’m constantly trying to work out how to re-do the layout without it becoming a 40k kitchen. Mainly the massive fridge freezer on the opposite side of the kitchen from everything else.
What are the approximate dimensions of the room? Our place has a similar layout with island in the middle but not leaving enough room for a dining table at the side.
Would be nice to have both, but currently feels like the worst of both worlds.
