  • Why so?.

I also thought the forks currently on the LC were pretty low trail tbf...

  • I don’t like low trail. It’s supposed to be good with a front load, but 99% of the time I don’t ride with one, and without it the wheel wonders too much for my liking. I prefer a more stable ride.

LB forks are low trail yes, that’s why I wouldn’t get one. The crown of the newer models is nice though, but you can’t get those separately unfortunately.

  • Those forks are damn nice though...The LC has a very lively front end, bloody moves a lot so could be low trail already from what you're saying...

@Hulsroy, How would one measure trail on forks? Just so I know where I am starting etc

DW, found this which explains it well HERE.)

  • Rode the bike home from work today, the ride is now 23 miles not 23 minutes so I had a good chance to get to know the bike a little.

First problem was my saddle was set slightly too high and I had no tools.

Second is I feel the front is "sketchy" in ways, rather twitchy and when going round corners it doesn't feel attached to the bike if that makes sense. I don't know if it's because of the fork trail, the fact it should have weight or the fact you've got in my head!

Thought apart from this I enjoyed riding home now the weather is not as cold. I bought my first ordnance survey map of my area to find the nice none main road routes.

Something nice about looking at road / routes not on a screen
