I think @amey or @Fox were using some kind of workaround to get a more up to date OSX on older stuff.

+1 I used OCLP to install Monterey on a 2o11 iMac, and it works great. I'll be using it to put Ventura on in September, once Monterey is unsupported.

Thanks for sharing this link, I've finally got around to attempting to update my Mac OS using the OpenCore patcher.

Slowly working through it, and no doubt will be writing here for some tips.

2014 13" Macbook air trying to download Ventura as Sonoma isn't compatible it seems. Currently running OS X Yosemite
