"Tames techy descents & rough terrain"
Yeah, some little knobs on handlebars definitely removed all those massive fucking rocks and that vertical drop I was shitting myself about...

The Biopace of handlebars.
There's can't be enough Pukes on Cock shirts for these.
I'll probably try a set next year...

Hah I've got the even more German SQlabs inner bar ends. They're 👍
-
• #29533
Aren't they basically fake road hoods though? They make a lot more sense to me than little hooks. I miss my aerobars on the MTB... then again I mostly walk next to my bikes these days...
-
• #29534
Yeah pretty much, make long days on flat bars much more comfortable.
I can see the little thumb hooks being nice for extended climbs though, you'd have a bit more control than the inner bar ends. -
• #29535
I have Ergon bars with the bar ends anyway. I just see those hooks as being an interference.

Sir, this is the Gravel thread.
Gravel (/ˈɡrævəl/) is a loose aggregation of rock fragments. Gravel occurs naturally on Earth as a result of sedimentary and erosive geological processes; it is also produced in large quantities commercially as crushed stone. Gravel is classified by particle size range and includes size classes from granule- to boulder-sized fragments. In the Udden-Wentworth scale gravel is categorized into granular gravel (2–4 mm or 0.079–0.157 in) and pebble gravel (4–64 mm or 0.2–2.5 in). ISO 14688 grades gravels as fine, medium, and coarse, with ranges 2–6.3 mm (0.079–0.248 in) for fine and 20–63 mm (0.79–2.48 in) for coarse. One cubic metre of gravel typically weighs about 1,800 kg (4,000 lb), or one cubic yard weighs about 3,000 lb (1,400 kg).

I have these AliExpress inner-bar ends on my touring bike. Love them, use as much as the wide position whilst on road I reckon, less so off road.

Actually tempted to try them. My bike's already been in Anti, so I've got nothing to lose

I even wrote "knobby bit" instead of just "knob" to try and avoid the obvious dick jokes.
This is the gravel thread though I guess. Is it in yet?
