I dropped them off as I fancied a trip out, nice folk, super busy.
dozens of Red Wings in for various jobs.
(IIRC they used to be the "official" UK resoler of RW boots)(C&P from a year ago)
They do mail order, I dropped mine off but got them to post them back.
Threw in a free pair of laces, which was nice.I have some red wing chukkas, but I don't get on with them, rub a bit on one heel.

Great thank you, and perfect - that's only about a half hour away from me so will pay them a visit as some point.
I always get on OK with the chukkas although I think the fit got a bit narrower with my latest pair.

I was looking at using Original Cobblers as they are recommended by Red Wing. My chukkas need doing as well and it is £130 at Original Cobblers, which is probably nearly what I paid for them all them years ago!
I asked in my local cobbler and he reckoned he could do my red wing chukkas for about £50 if he can source the parts. Is it worth paying the extra money for Original Cobblers to do them?
