Packers had a chance to put their foot on the throats of the 49ers and let it slip. Know they are young and (more importantly) have a good young quarterback, and they probably feel that their window is opening, and they’ll have another chance in playoffs to come, but feels like a huge missed opportunity.
NFC north could be good for years to come, if the bears make good use of their upcoming draft capital, if the packers young uns keep improving, if the lions support Campbell and what he’s building, and if the vikings find an above average quarterback, getting out of that division could be a similar dogfight/slugfest that the AFC north has become.
Really hoping that the lions get past the buccaneers. Know they should, they feel the more rounded team, better in most departments, and they seem like a better test for the 49ers if they get to the conference game. But….
Anyway really happy todays games are at a sensible time for uk viewers, can watch both and be in bed by 2am (fingers crossed they don’t go to overtime)
