I’m 4 pairs in without complaint.
Think I’ll get a single front one and then see if this one will play nice on the CAAD.

The crux fork can take a 180mm rotor. Makes me want one even more.
Since the front hope caliper has the +20mm adapter built in to it, it sits high like this on a crux fork. You should definitely get the bigger rotor!

Blue would look nice I guess…

Confirming a single front calliper has been ordered and the current one shall move to the CAAD.
Keeping the nice 160mm 'Road' rotors.

Updates on the crux?

• #536
I just called the bike shop and it's ready to collect - standby!
Edit: do not be thinking it's ready to go.
To do:
Indexing gears
Fit cranks + yoghurt pot (Thanks Hippy)
Bar Tape
Torque all the things
Set saddle height - having failed to measure my fit from my Sl7. DOH.
Acetone red 3T stripe on stem

1h of work if that

My BB spacer googling and troubleshooting says otherwise.
Started with 2x2.5 on nds and 1x2.5 on ds + 1mm spacer on spindle. NOPE. Hope guide is wrong.
Ended with 1x2.5 on ds + 1mm spacer on spindle.
Chainline = yes. Most of the list remains. Let’s see what I can crack through in the next hour.
PSA: plastic bag over bb = no scratches. You’re welcome.

New gold chain on the way - the old one had been static for a year and therefore was likely to explode on me. It also made some funny grating sounds when I attached.
Should be done today I hope, but this storm will put pay to a ride. Sigh.

That is a top tip - thanks

Updates pleeeaaase. Especially rear tyre clearance.
Annoyingly the Certini price has gone up (can these things be negotiated!?) blurring decision lines more! -

Especially rear tyre clearance.
It'll clear 33s fine ;)

You over estimate my facilities

I bought a wahoo from them a few years ago that they then reduced a week later, I queried it and they refunded the difference so you never know...

45s on 700cc are good. Have yet to try the 650b setup as need rotors and cassette.
Honestly feel I wasted the last couple of years with the SL7 and aero bike road escapades. All road gravel setup is where it's at. Can see me doing lots of miles on this over the summer. Sublime.

Not a fan of the shiny but what are they (dimensions)?
I've got some Di2 bits now so my Crux might still be ridden this year.

Did you resolve the issue with the clear coat peeling?
-
• #550
Me neither tbh, but they will be fine with a layer of dust and the match the stem to a degree.
Arkane made me do it. They did properly plump the tyres albeit no difference to width.

Yey for ‘standards’!
