I've not made any particularly tangible progress but I'm much closer to having a workshop. We've now settled in Provence and decided to hang around for a while so I'm on the lookout for garages.
So far have seen an almost 3 car garage that was rented for 150€ per month. Crazy stuff. It's all so cheap. Id like to find maybe half the size just to keep the overheads low so will keep hunting. There's loads of garages tho so should find something soon. Most of my tools arrived a couple weeks ago, so I have almost everything.
However I left my expensive and sensitive tools (tig welder/torch stuff/torches etc) at my parents in London as I wasn't sure how much I trusted the moving company (it was suspiciously cheap). So there's a few things yet to come. Not sure when yet, possibly in a month or so.
Anyway will hopefully find a space in the next few weeks then I can get back to it, can't wait.
In the meantime I have created some renders of the MTB frame. For a laugh but also to figure out the colour I want. Haven't put too much time into them so they aren't perfect but it's cool to get an idea of what it'll look like. None of the parts in the render are necessarily parts I will use, just what I could find 3d models of.
