Hey
I would suggest you look at TA Pro-vis (also known as 'Cyclotouriste') which come in lots of sizes. There's a french seller who carries the range... I'll try and figure out what they're called, @absurdbird might remember as we were discussing it a while back. -

Oooh.
I know the answer to this one!I don’t think Pro Vis 5 would be great for track (if that’s what you’re going to use them for) as the small BCD leads to flex (track is about the only place I’d think this could be an issue.
Also an expensive choice.
Spa Cycles does a big range of TA stuff.I’d recommend getting a top quality chainset with a fucked pedal thread and getting Highpath Engineering (or someone else possibly l) to shorten them.

Spa Cycles does a big range of TA stuff.
They used to have 155 and 160 cranks, but weren’t on the website when I checked recently.
If you can’t see them online, maybe give them a ring.
Thanks for the tip about shortening cranks. Never thought about that!

Wouldn't be track specific cranks, but Appleman (on insta) are known for doing a really wide range of cranks (down to 130mm or wildly assymetric) - but will cost a bit ££

There used to be a TA track spider for the Pro Vis 5 but probably only on ebay these days.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, something for me to look into this evening.
Also, Rotor makes cranks down to 155mm and Raketa has their new track cranks which goes down to 145mm, but both options are pretty spenny. I was hoping to find a cheap-ish option to test which length would fit me best.
@absurdbird never thought about shortening cranks but that might be a good option too.

maybe consider BMX cranks (may be hard to find chainrings though). These ones come in 135-170mm

I used to use an old Sugino crank that was 155 or around that many moons ago. Someone told me it was a Sugino junior crank?
Worked fine for fixed brakeless

Alpina does them in 152mm

These are all out of stock just now but were available in 140, 150 and 160mm. Mrs m_v has a bike with the 150s on and they seem perfectly serviceable. 104bcd track size chainring probably not the easiest thing to find but someone like that Bikepunx lot that were doing laser cut rings might be somewhere to start.
The smallest bikes we have at the velodrome have 152mm Sugino XD2 cranks. They’re maybe 130 bcd but actually 110. Should be easy enough to find larger rings for.

This is the best option imo

These go all the way down to 130mm

Thank you everyone for the suggestions!
I'll most likely be going with @vvbbfixie 's suggestion with the Alpina junior crankset 🙌 -

Nice! Please if you can, I’d love to know how the alpina crank performs

So I've reached out to Dolan and here are some more info they provided.
The junior cranks are made to the same quality as the adult version, including BCD and pedal threads, so 9/16" vs 1/2" that comes with most junior pedals, and the Q factor is 150mm.
I'll update more once I've had a chance to ride on them.

Thanks for the update!
My physio recommended me to ride shorter cranks for my hip impingement, so I’m looking for a crankset that’s 155mm.
Or if you have any crankset shorter than 165mm pls let me know and I can consider too.
Thanks!
