Two normal bottom brackets though, rather than a single hollow axle BB.

What role did you play?

I got offered a shift at work that was 4am nyd til 8pm. Really good money so I forwent a few good opportunities to celebrate and played it sensibly and arrived to work in a good state to work. Come 7pm and I'm feeling quite chuffed to have made it through and have the end in sight. Go to pick up a table with a very heavy base, give it full beans and I wrench the entire tabletop off the base straight into my own face, blood pissing everywhere, masc tradesmen types looking at me like 'dude go get that checked now that's horrific', walk to st.thomas hospital and I've put both of my top two teeth through my bottom lip and need stitching up immediately. It's 1mm away from the vermilion border (just learned that phrase tonight) which if it had crossed would have meant plastic surgery to correct. Have sufficiently self medicated and feeling a bit better but boy was I in a foul fucking mood earlier

Thank you, i have a week before I start at a new company, supposed to get the sutures out on the 1st day but will do the day before. In the mean time I'm just going to chill and be in healing mode

Sounds like when I had an off on the commute home, smashed out the 3 front teeth on the top, one of which I couldn't locate. 2 weeks later, once the swelling had gone down, the dentist took some xrays. Later that day, got a phone call asking if I could go back in.

Showed me the xray and one of my teeth was embedded in my top lip. Said he hadn't seen one like that in his entire career and would I mind if the rest of the staff (and I mean all of them) could come in and watch it being extracted!

Oof. Heal up soon.

If we're sharing tooth / lips stories though...

I fell onto a plough, face first. Shattered a top front tooth, which went through my lower lip.

It was patched up in an dental A&E, by an old fella whom I am convinced was a bit pissed up, by the shaking involved.

Two weeks later, I'm at a different dentist having toot and bone fragments excised from my lips , gums and jaw.

Similar but not the same; as a 6 year old kid I lost my grip on a climbing frame and dropped flat on the playground, slamming my jaw shut and my teeth into my tongue.

Painthful.

Yikes, lots of this happening then.
I failed to get my self out of an invert/table in a concrete skatepark and yep, lips to the floor while also still moving forwards (this was about a 2 metre drop)
All front teeth out of position. Top 4 pushed in at something larger than a 45° angle and the bottom 4 the same but outwards. Lost a couple of them and everything else needed repositioning surgically and then root canal treatments. No solid food for like 6 months. Fragments of the teeth were everywhere, gums, inside lips. It was a bloody mess, friends said I looked like the Predator and they felt sick looking at me
