I replaced my bro's over Christmas (he's not at all mechanically minded), with the new unaffected Ultegra model.
Shop said they were fine (I agree), but it's done now; they're off the bike and no longer a potential source of worry.
He said he'll put the old ones on eBay with a very honest description - not sure how that pans out legally, if someone is willing to take a punt?
