Wouldn't say I was 'pro' spit. But having been to races, the fans can be arseholes if they don't like you. If he was getting abuse from the warm up laps to the last lap, I'm surprised he didn't do a sven and go after the fuckers. I would have.

I always assumed this was why they all had quite burly mechanics, but I’ve a lot of time for the lad who stopped and waded into the crowd!
