I really like them.
I bought these used off the forum so can’t say how many times they have been washed and how that has been done. Obviously that can effect the waterproofing.
I find that the outer surface gets wet in heavy rain but inside there is absolutely zero moisture passing through. In lighter rain it just beads off.
While they look really damp, if you just brushed your hand over it a lot of that dark ‘dampness’ just vanishes.
They don’t really get heavy or sodden with water. The fabric just gets a little darker and that’s it.
The fit is good for me, a little loose in the waist but I’m particularly slim so very few other people will have that issue with the XS size. This can probably be modified by Albion if I asked.
They make for great waterproofs for fast road riding, unlike a lot of other brands, but still manage not to be restrictive or skin tight.
All in, I think they are great. I would be happy to pay the retail price, if I had the money.
