RIP Elguapo, and his family need our help | Fu©k cancer

Some of you may have heard that elguapo/Aram is very unwell.

Aram was diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year. He got the all-clear in the summer after a brutal bout of chemo, he smashed it. Last month he was told the disease had come back and was now in his spine and liver. The oncologist's initial prognosis was that Aram had 1-2 years left, the cancer was untreatable.

Fast forward a few short weeks and Aram is in a hospice, the cancer has progressed at an unbelievable rate and there is now very little time left. Aram's wife, Jenne, (who many of you will also know!) has taken a leave of absence and she is looking after Aram as well as their 9 year old boy, Eladio.

They need our help. Jenne asked me to start a Gofundme, here's the link so please share far and wide. There's lots more info on the GoFundMe page as well as an audio message from Aram himself so please go and have a look. A few of us have already donated to Jenne directly via PayPal (Jennifer Street - paravionus@yahoo.com).

Please dig deep. Aram and Jenne are two of the greatest people I've met on here, friends for life, I was looking forward to growing old disgracefully with Aram, chatting shit about music, bikes, movies, etc, but the universe had other plans. Ugh, fuck the world.

I’m so very sad to read this. Aram was one of the first forum members I ever met when I was just a kid. I was wearing a Stones Throw Records t shirt covered in labels of late 80s/early 90s hip hop 45s that I’d never heard of. But Aram knew all of them.
