  • After wearing the tiny Rotary manual watch, it become extremely apparent just how wearable if is compare to modern day gigantic watches that’s 38mm+.

There’s something nice about a classic dress watch that’s less than 36mm and only 8mm thick completely disappearing on your wrist yet very readable.

  • Yep, I only wear this little Citizen now because it’s so much comfier than anything else I own/have owned. Very much over the modern watch game for this reason. A 36mm Explorer or OP would be the only modern watch I’d consider buying at this point I think. But even then - they’re not great leather strap watches IMO so I probably wouldn’t bother…

  • I now get why a lots of field watches were 34mm and have great legibility, I have a 38mm field watch and it felt a little on the big size.

The modern watch games is like the American obsession on gigantic pick-up truck.

  • My Tag on a perlon gets worn so much for the same reason. Very light, very comfy, doesn't catch sleeves or pockets, very legible.

  • BTW, love this more than the Domino’s/Rolex one.
