Very unlikely, to be off the shelf or preowned cheaper than new.
But waits will be less and the mad prices on the grey market are a thing of the past IMHO . -

There has definitely been a big shift this year. I was expecting the new Rolex factories opening up to be the big difference maker but a lot of people simply don't have the money sloshing around anymore that they did during the lockdown/bitcoin weirdness and it's quite possible that we go back to where we were circa 2018/19 where Subs and GMTs were waitlisted but Explorer IIs, Air-Kings, Milgauses etc were widely available.
FWIW there was always the odd chance that you could walk in, catch them on a good day and there'd be a steel sports watch that had come in that was allocated to someone who didn't pick the phone up when they got the call. It did and does happen.

Hah, fair enough. Will they become cheaper second hand than their are at RRP then? We seem to be close to that at the moment for some watches.
