i found that images seem about 1/2 a stop darker on here

Yeah, I get that too. Makes my images look even gloomier than usual. Am not a fan of boosting saturation either, à la that Josh Edgoose fella, where everything looks a bit Disneyfied. Also I live in Scotland so..

That's odd because LFGSS/Microcosm doesn't modify images, it stores/serves them as-is. Can I see the image on flickr?

@Velocio there’s definitely a loss in saturation when posting images here. It might be from uploading rather than embedding from Flickr etc but looking side by side the yellow in “Tony’s” sign is much less vivid than the original.
