Presumably you know British bikes of that era will almost certainly be made for 27" wheels?
The advantage is plenty of clearance for wider 700c tyres, but you will need deep drop brakes.
120 old rear also limits you to 5 speed freewheel.
Try posting on the CTC website and Retrobike to increase your chances of finding what you want.I have posted a couple of bikes to my daughter in Mainz so happy to forward to Germany if the seller is reluctant (many will be, especially on the CTC website)
PM me if I can help.

@mig Thank you very much for your kind offer.
I am active in retrobike as well for several years, only ctc hasn't been a place for me.
Regarding frame specs, yes I am aware and of course purposefully hoping to find something nice with more clearance. As I want to ride it as a fixed gear dirt tourer 120mm is absolutely fine...
Cheers

A path frame would be ideal for you maybe…eg Holdsworth Zephyr….this is currently on eBay …58cm

Maybe a bit small, but retrodicorsa's Gillot from here would save me from temptation

Thanks. It does look good, might be a tad to small for my liking. And it needs to be picked up...

@caemis and @nankatsu - can something be worked out? I'm due to pick up three frames from Mario Vaz in SE in Jan, could swing by and pick that Gillott up too and post it to Germany if that's required? Payment can be made any desired way I'm sure....csh if that's the only way too, I'm sure we can sort it out 😀

SORTED
Hi,
I am looking for a British made frameset with some more tire clearance (32mm), mudguard mounts, etc.
100/120 hub spacing
As for sizing: 59-60ct would be great.
Shipping to Germany is a must.
Thanks!
