and the uefa coefficient takes another kicking
don't we get 5 places next year due to the new champions league format if we stay high in the coefficients ?man u and newcastle are just shooting themselves in the foot by getting knocked out, why didn't they just score more goals

They did it to stop Spurs getting a place next year.

looking forward to his distinct lack of class returning to the premiershit

If those teams had stayed up those seasons they wouldn't have dropped those points from a winning position.

tom lockyer conscious and responding to treatment
they're saying he had a similar episode in the play off final last summer, did not know that -

He had a pacemaker fitted after that I believe.

He collapsed after about 3 minutes off the ball in the playoff final. Don’t wish it on anyone, but I wonder it it’s time to call it a day? Once and you can understand keeping playing but twice seems like you’re taking unnecessary risks.

Probably right and I guess any issues are exacerbated by playing and training at such high intensity.
He'd be likely to be involved if Wales got to the Euros though, and this is probably Luton's first and only season in the Premier League - I doubt he'll be persuaded to give up easily.

Second heart attack in six months whilst playing football really makes it seem like too much of a risk to keep on going.
Sad news as he is really one of Luton's key players and really epitomising their current team.

I was actually fearing we’d come unstuck without Branthwaite and Gueye. Gotta hand it to Dyche, 4 wins without conceding is tantamount to alchemy given our last 2 seasons.

A few thoughts
1) Tom Lockyer - fuck, puts everything else into the shade
2) Jimenez’ assault described on MoTD as “yeah, probably a red” - looked terrible in real time, even worse in reply, how can that even be considered as “probably” 🤷‍♂️
3) The amount of added time on most matches is mad; Villa may have shithousery sensei Emi Martinez but 12 minutes today -

The Villa game went to shit when Ben Mee was (rightly) sent off.
Was a little disgruntled that the Bees didn't get a penalty when Mee was wrestled to the ground with arms around his neck, but that's just the way it goes. Before we were down to 10 it looked like Villa couldn't find a way through.
Maupay and Martinez were a good combo for shithousery! Disappointed with Watkins - not sure why he was being a prick after his goal.
Edit - now seen that Watkins is saying he got some personal family abuse from one of the fans and his celebration was directed solely at them. Not sure how I feel about that really. It certainly changed the game.

I'd imagine the insurance companies may have something to say soon.
