Nothing, take out the old gasoline. Refill with clear gasoline and oil (2/3%). Change the spark plug for a new one. Open air shaft. Kick to start it or push it in 2nd gear. You’ll see it rarely fails.
These things are built to last. I recently started one almost as old as yours without a problem. -

Picked these Prime carbon wheels up for a good price.
38mm deep and 1540g so should ride nicely.
Thankfully the branding is fairly subtle.I just need to get the right end caps for them (if anyone has some let me know) and give them a clean.

What end caps do you need? I bought some Prime Attaqeurs from Wiggle recently and am only using the 12mm thru axle end. The QR and 15mm ends are sitting in a box.

What's the plan for this speedy guy? TCR? Is it replacing the carbonda?
Eagerly awaiting the trip report.

Needed 12mm thru end caps :/

The carbonda is very functional but this is just faster, considerably.
I haven't got any plans for next year down onto paper just yet. After everything I planned to do this year went down the drain I'm a bit more hesitant to put all my eggs in one basket.
I'm hoping, generally, to do a bit of touring, maybe a couple of ultras, get back racing track, go see some WT racing on the Continent and, maybe LEJOG or something like that.
In general just to see more of the world as I never did any travelling post-school, pre-uni.After seeing a third (!) physio yesterday, it looks like my knee injury is on its way out and I should be back at my usual mileage within a month or something.
I'm honestly just happy and grateful to be able to ride my bike most days, even if it just training loops out in Kent..
I've got a lot of work to do to get my fitness back but it's nice having something to work towards again, because nothing else in my life is giving me very much joy lol -

Ah, sorry! Might be worth asking in the Wiggle/ non eBay bargain threads to see if anyone else can help out. I think a few people ended up with Prime wheelsets with various end caps.

The only reason this bike was built is because of you @ing me in sales threads aha

Perfect time of year to start planning next year's tour imo. The season basically starts in April, especially if you can get to southern Europe...

If no thru axle caps show up its a sign to swap the frameset for a 2017 supersix or the like

About killed these tyres. Horrible SE London roads with too much glass on them.
Corsa Controls are the closest to them I imagine?

Carbonios are on? Any pictures?

Waiting on getting the right end caps! Hopefully next week they’ll be on.

Corsa Controls are the closest to them I imagine?
Arguably better. They are certainly more cut resistant than Paves in my experience.

I also have some plans for my Carbonda.
Now that I have a proper road bike, I'm able to turn it into something more specific.
I've done about 8,000km on the Carbonda and I have nothing bad to say about it. And I still think the dynamo is the best money I've ever spent on bike parts.I'm trying not to spend much money on it. Hopefully to save that money to ride it some place nice next year!
Initial idea is going flatbar, MT200 hydro brakes, Vittoria Mezcals.
The photo below is not how I currently have it set up. Right now I have a front rack with a bag on it and the dynamo light attatched to oneside, instead of the fork crown.
Below that is what I'd like to get it looking like.

Silver hub and spokes, and black rim and tyre looks so, so good.

New setup will use "alt bars" like the Moloko or Jones or etc?
I like it. I've spent loads of time on Jones bars and the angles and hand positions work really nicely for me. I've honestly been considering the same for my gravelishtouringish bike. Moloko are also comfortable, but have a different reach and angles to the Jones. And they are heeeaaaavvvvyy. If that matters.

Trouser details? And imo leave the carbonda as it is and start buying tickets. If you've ridden 8000km(!) in its current set up you can ride it some more.

Albion Zoa rain trousers!
That is good advice but messing with bikes is just so much fun 😅 -

leave the carbonda as it is
this
It’s not been started in 13 years, I’m not sure anything I do now can save it.
