Ear stuff has been outsourced to opticians and pharmacies.
People I know get their ears done at the local pharmacy where they do a form of micro-suction.

I've used reading glasses for the first time. I pilfered my wife's. I'm 46. I needed to get some fiddly little screws aligned and it was dark (ish), and the things really made a difference. An ophthalmologist I work with occasionally has told me lots of times everyone should start using them earlier than they eventually do. Guess I need to get myself a pair.

Almost all my teeth are literally crumbling. I take calcium supplements to no avail. Today a back molar fell apart.
Dentist wants to do an implant.
I am weighing the benefit of $5000 minimum over the 20 years of life left.PS for the love of God don’t drink sugary pop.

I like these, and nearly 3 years of use are great. However, if the floor is gritty they sound horrible.

That lack of arch support is asking for trouble. Very nice tho'.
I'm losing the Crocs battle, I'll probably get some in the January sales.

Singapore wellies, important for maintaining ridiculous tanlines when it’s pissing down all the time, as it is at the moment.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology we were about to go into a drought. Cue much rain.
I've only just got rid of my Bedrock bikini sandal tan lines.

The tyranny of extreme heat and 100% humidity. Still preferable to London. 👹

I just read through the first 10 or so pages of this thread, 12 years ago it was a lot more about childhood nostalgia - pop culture, food, school stuff etc - it's since somehow turned into mild complaining about the aging process in general. Tbh I skipped the middle 100 pages so don't know when this happened. Someone could probably make something out of this incredible discovery, not me though.

Twelve years of ageing has done that.

Failing at hashtags seems appropriate here 😀
NHS don't do syringing anymore.
