Haggis

Has anyone retrofitted an induction hob with built in extractor, good experience? For whatever reason the kitchen has a steal beam above the hob so probably the reason there is no extractor.

I guess I'll just lose a few drawers.

An extractor fan doesn’t have to be above a hob, it’s kind of just where people expect to see it. Invariably people misread the manual and install them at their minimum height above the hob which is why they are at forehead or eye level for taller people.

You could look at a ceiling cooker hood.
