In the end it was value of bike not repair cost as that was about double.
Fought for the ten percent salvage cost too.
@jackbepablo mine was Aviva, who to be fair, we’re a good underwriter and informed me of the third party admitting liability.
Devitt as broker didn’t know and didn’t seem to care.
