  • Could have done with knowing this last year (about the tissue), when I spent 6 weeks injecting MrsP with anti-coagulant in her stomach regions.

  • Keeping the hair on your nape tidy makes a haircut look fresh for longer.

  • Here’s a new one: if you’re a side sleeper, and have a bit of space in your bed, try a pregnancy pillow/sleeping sausage.

  • If you want to have a full length waifu pillow, get yourself a full length waifu pillow. Who are we to judge.

  • Not sure one could comfortably contort one of those in the same way, but I’ve never seen one outside a pretty sad documentary so if you say it’s a good option then I believe you.

  • I think there’s a camping food thread, but I can find it, so.
    The easiest one pot camping meal is;
    One pot noodle,
A number of eggs (how many survived from the shop/farm to the campsite, or break them into a jar to make sure you’ve enough)
    Bag of cooked rice.
Make pot noodle in pot, drink liquid, put pot back on heat break in the eggs, stir together until cooked to preference, pour bag of cooked rice to the side, add sauces to taste. Sounds awful, taste surprisingly good after a hard day.
Thank you Stuart Marconi, I shouldn’t have doubted you.

  • If you're using a cooking pot anyway I'd steer you toward the noodle thread for much better options than Pot Noodle

  • I’m talking petrol station provisions TBH, but yes better, nicer noodles are an option, if available :D

  • Surely just the pot noodle is the easiest one pot camping meal, strictly speaking

  • But is a pot noodle a meal? Discuss.

  • The Pot Noodle branded ones are horrible but with soup and some half rehydrated sweetcorn and peas I think it just about qualifies

  • Instant Noodles are trash, no nutritional value, packed full of salt and preservatives, and heaps of plastic waste. Even a petrol station normally has pasta.

  • Heating up beans in a mug in the microwave.

  • cold beans

  • Have we had this one?
