Somebody reversed their wankpanzer into our boot in the school car park. The alarm went off for what felt like an hour, then I noticed it's our EVwanker car and I stopped it from my phone. As seen in the rear dashcam footage, they didn't even get out to check the damage, and they didn't need to reverse at all to be able to exit their spot. I don't want to be more cunty than necessary but surely this needs a special kind of treatment?
Damage wise, it's just a dimple in the boot lid on a single place on the left. But it's a lease car on my ltd so I can't just take it to a random bodyshop and hope for the best, especially since the car is less than 3 months old. This morning I drove to school but couldn't see the driver (we know the kid by passing, no idea about the parents) and didn't get an email/phone from the school or him so I started the claim process on Admiral, didn't want to be too late for it. Didn't file a police report (yet) but I might tonight (wondering if I'll have their details by tonight then it will be easier) any recommendations on how to proceed?
