I'd be interested how their Noise-canceling performs, I have some cheap 30quid (Soundcore Life A1) that I use mainly for phonecalls and podcasting I was impressed!

It isn't as good as over ear 'phones; i guess there are limitations in what you can achieve with buds.
It's fine for office / walking about, high dB environment like the tube, not so much.

high dB environment like the tube, not so much.
It depends a bit on your tube, but you're right. These absolutely will not work on a noisy tube. For that you really need some proper noise cancelling jobs.
My youngest broke my already ropey OneOdios so I'm now using my Motikom motorbike headset for the Jubilee line - which is an in-ear with excellent noise blocking, and good noise cancelling.
Even so, on the train bit of my commute and the walk to/from the station I still often use the cheapo ones as they're light and easy to pop in/out. I'm still impressed in terms of voice calls (previously their main use) and use them when cooking or listening to a podcast in bed. I like that I can keep them in my pocket to use as/when (but that applies to most of these things I guess).
Just to reiterate though they are cheap and not an audiophile listening experience.

My Anker earbuds have stopped holding charge. Any reasonable replacement recommends, or more of the same best?
Maybe some that pick up speaking a bit better for calls not just listening?

Could anyone recommend wired earbuds with a mic? The apple ones always seem to drop out in one ear. Cheers.

I bought my wife some of these and they are very good, much better than my technics. It says refurbished but they looked factory new

Basic and no ANC- but I swear by beats flex for this use case. I like that they hang round your neck and not get lost and no fiddling/losing charging cases.

I've had a pair of these anker soundcore for a while, although annoyingly i seem to have lost them last week - i rate them:
think they were £70 when i bought them, now £60.

Are they OK to side sleep in? Do you know?
-
• #2746
I've not tried to sleep with them on. The design doesn't protrude much so they could possibly work.
I replaced the rubber tips with foam ones which makes them a bit less prone to falling out.
Edit: found them - happy day!

OK thanks. I might give them a shot. One of my Galaxy ear buds is now quiet, after approx 3 years of daily use!

That link, from my phone, goes to the play store hukd app download.
Is it a link to the pixel earphones?
What’s the word on wireless earbuds. Using iPhone. Don’t need super magical noise cancelling. I have that already. Day to day use for commuting along 90% traffic free routes.
I don’t like bulky stuff. I won’t make phone calls.
