Also noticed the Lifeline T handle ratchet thing on wiggle for £8 is probably made in the same factory as the Silka

The Lifeline one weighs an absolute tonne

Why are the black Silca titanium tools so much cheaper than the non black ones? They're the same, right? Just one is painted.
I needed a new chain whip anyway, applied all the discounts I could. -
• #6255
The non Cerakote ones were the same price they just all sold out yesterday.
-
• #6256
Ahh, I see. I'm sure I can have at it with sandpaper and get it to pure titanium goodness quite easily

Now sold, unsurprisingly. I probably wouldn't have managed to get over there today but fired off a message on the off chance

Cheers.

Nice.
I have a Neos one I liked enough to buy some for the gifts box, and now have to pare down gift box. They’re really well made, comes with a case, I’ve used them for tours and dr bike-ing, and mine’s still going. £15 shipped UK domestic if anyone’s interested.

Good find if so, but price seems to have been updated.
Anyone have any other bargains for similar torque tube things?

I was looking at some German made industrial ones before I remembered the Topeak - it’s the cheapest, can be had for less than £20

Nice one. Been wanting the Ti Ratchet Torque tool thingy for years. This with a discount code I had is the cheapest it's been for a loooong time! Ordered.

Man this Silca rewards thing feels fairly easy to game, on top of the birthday thing I spent less than a minute liking on the socials and doing a review and got a bunch more points…
-
• #6273
The only annoying thing is you can't seem to stack discounts. I found the most effective way to game it was multiple new accounts all with convenient birthdays and lots of separate orders to get 20 euros of every product you order.

I did see one checkout where there was a slider to apply points rather than generate a voucher. Forgot to actually do it that way though so I’m not sure if it works + referral code

£132 for frame
Plus all the bits on upgrading it.I’m OUT.
For the moment.(Deore brakes and levers, deore hubs on something, fat tyres, stem, Bafang, pedals, probably single speed if Bafang)
I got one too. If this badly described topeak thing is what I think it is, you can turn it into a 5nm fixed torque wrench for less than a tenner
