ER no, they need to pay for repairs to the bike, any equipment and a back hander to keep you in the same situation as before as if you hadn't had an accident.
Did you have a hire vehicle while yours was off road?

No I didn’t. It’s why I’m chasing this up by myself. My insurance pressured me to have a hire bike whilst mine was being ‘assessed’. They got pissy when I said no.
Got an independent quote to a total, of which the TP insurers responded with half of it as the ‘value’ of the bike. I don’t want to replace the bike, I want to repair it.

Insurance question. I’ve chased up my claim from a few months back.
Third party has claimed responsibility and they want to pay out below quoted repair.
Not fussed either way, however, the TP insurer says they need to deduct 10% for salvage.
Does this mean that they will pay out in exchange for my bike??
