I've had an old Fuji X10 lying around/not getting you use it deserves for some time now. Recently read that the older Fuji models have super weak IR filters on the sensors and bought myself a R72 Infrared Filter to see.
It bloody works! Bit awkward to work with, exposures rarely get under a second on 100ISO and the manual focus is clunky as all hell on the X10, but you get some decent results.
Typical I've bought it just as the sun is vanishing for the foreseeable and all the foliage is dying.
