If you go by the usual maths, we're about half way through the killing of Palestinians in this invasion. (This century, Israel has killed about 20 Palestinians per dead Israeli. 1200 died in the Hamas invasion, so the quota of dead Palestinians is about 24000. It seems 12000 have been killed so far. All numbers subject to verification etc.)
According to Jeremy Bowen, the Israeli military always talks of two clocks running when they are killing Palestinians. One is military: how long do they need before they accomplish their military objectives?
