A little. It used to be a lot easier to cross the channel in trucks on ferries or on a train. Extra security and checks have made that route much harder so people have switched to boats in greater numbers. Probably.

The shorthand of 'stop the boats' is hilarious how it is employed. So unspecific, just stop that thing now! Also interesting to see she has finally joined most other people in criticising her own Rwanda plan.
