Thats the lowest my blood pressure has been AFAIK. That after the stress of losing 2cm of height.
The doctor was banging on about me being in good shape, having good blood work etc. and I'm thinking 'fuck you, good shape?, I'm fucking shrinking!'

I have borderline low blood pressure at 110/50 which leads to head rushes when I stand up. I used to pass out a lot when I was a child because of it. After having general anesthetic it gets even lower to 80/40 and they usually give me some horrific glucose syrup to drink to perk me up enough to turf me out of their bed.
Maybe I need to eat some fat and get stressed.

I'm running a "Get fat fast" course for beginners. There's an advanced course at the end of the month for those who have completed the "Get fat fast" units, called "Anger and stress and how to harvest them".

I have been conducting an experiment called "How many mincepies can I eat?"

I'm also conducting a similar course, "Get fast fat" how to stay with the group whilst continuing to enjoy all the tasty fruits and delicious nectars life offers...
More for your advanced level fatties.

Doesn't work, I eat loads of fat and am super stressed but still have very low blood pressure and the accompanying dizziness and blackouts.

Have you considered blood pressure training?
Maybe tie off your arms and legs with some chicken wire to build up internal blood pressure. Your arms and legs may suffer as a result of this..

Once the lift is installed, and a full time nurse is in place for my bed baths. I hope to see my burden on the local heath service greatly reduced.

BP is normal.I ask as I experienced this recently, was like that for 2 days, I got worried as I had an (unrelated it turns out) pain in my right arm.
I remembered seeing something about putting your heart back into regular rhythm with chest compressions.
I pumped my own chest quite quickly in a regular rhtym, about 120bpm, between 20-30 times. That put my heart back into regular rhythm. I was relieved.
not sure if this is a good idea.

Stimulating the vagus nerve can be done by holding your breath and trying to force the air out (like a quite making their face go red).
Or you can jump into a cold bath and let your diving reflex kick in, and pretty much do the same thing.

Very old thread, but any folks living with chronically high blood pressure?
Following a trip to the hospital and some tests, I’m monitoring ahead of some medical intervention. Mine seems to be in the region of 151/92 from a few days tracking, which would put me at hypertension, which is worrying but hopefully can be addressed. More worrying is that I suspect it’s been at that level for years.

Easy to control with medication, I'm on Amlodipine and Ramipril. Mine came on very suddenly around nine years ago, everything was totally normal then it decided to jump up. Nothing had changed with my health/diet/etc, it seems to be a hereditary thing. Was fortunate that it was picked up almost straight away, I've been on the tablets ever since.

Thanks - that sounds promising. Did you notice any unexpected improvements to wellbeing that the medication brought about? I have a tendency for migraines and have been experiencing some level of chest pains which am hoping the medication rectifies, but maybe there are negative impacts that the high blood pressure is having that I'm not connecting, maybe with energy levels, sleep quality etc.
