I’ve gone a bit leftfield and gone with a 51t, for my own reasons, hence the ring. Bikeinn have an enormous range.

The chainset is also a 105 cos I wanted some 160mm cranks too and this was the most viable option. It’s a da9100 groupset otherwise.

Hadn’t thought about the 105 recall status; assumed these cranks post dated that issue so didn’t bother to check. If they’re not affected that’s a bonus but even if they are they can’t be as shonky as the bonds on the frame! Now 17 years old and no idea how many owners before me. I think it’s fine.

@snoops taping bars is impossible and I refuse to believe anyone can do it properly. I also understand it’s a widely accepted view on here that it’s poor form to critique a tapejob.

Pffft. Was fresh out the bike shop after getting my shifter fixed before hopping on it to ride away. It's evidently a casual snap; you'll note the wheels aren't aligned and the velopark band still there. I've not even got my corsas on!
