Just received an approved amendment to warrant after we had to combine a few applications plus some detail tweaks into a single warrant application to building standards.
Building Inspector coming out of Friday. So, squeaky bum time as we are about to agree exchange on the sale of the place for the 30th Nov.
How strict are these (lovely) people? There was one stipulation of having an insulated loft access door/opening for our new bathroom in the eaves.
We don’t have this and just have some inset “box” shelves that can be removed for access. Is that the type of thing they’ll look for? Literally no clue about this stuff but I don’t know if it’s the type of thing we could fail inspection on (even though there were walls removed, steels, extension etc which feel like a bigger deal)
