Weirdly, the NFL have also this week cease and desisted UH who sometimes wear a very similar homage jersey.
Perhaps requisite trademark protection - but you’d think them wearing it would only be good for the NFL - not sure how/why otherwise they think it is damaging to their brand..

Tennessee are not the Oilers. The huge emotional twinge I get from seeing the uniforms still gets me. Moon. Dishman. Jeffries. Campbell. White Shoes Johnson. The Bumerooski. None have anything to do with Tennessee. None.
They are and always will be the Houston Oilers.
